What will be the primary method of instruction?
This is a hybrid course. That means that we will have both face to face and remote/online meetings. The first module will be entirely remotely. We will begin to have face to face meetings in module II.  The course, however, is entirely available on Canvas.  Here you can find a detailed schedule of our meetings
Do I need formal training in Music?
No, you don't need formal training in music to enroll  in this course.
How much will I have to write for this course?
This course will require you to write around 30 pages. The writing assignments are scattered throughout the semester.
How much will I have to read?
This is a mid- level course that, on average, we will read between 50-70 pages per week. There are weeks that we will read around 150 pages. Plan to expend between 2 to 3 hours of reading per week.
